When eighteen year old Joanne Weston's parents were killed in a horrific accident on a New Forest road she struggled to come to terms with the tragedy. With the village gossips speculating on what really caused the accident and memories haunting her at every turn, she fled her home to live with her aunt.

Finally returning home three years later to help her uncle run the family farm, she starts to settle back into forest life. With her home life and even her love life beginning to blossom, it starts to feel like she had never been away.

But not everything in the forest is as it seems. With deeply hidden secrets beginning to emerge, they not only threaten to tear her life apart once again, but the consequences could be far reaching for everyone involved.
